Pushing Daisy's Band

Founded in 2010 by Perry Meridian alumni Max Heyob and Chris Willsey, they bonded over their love for the music of The Who, The Clash, and Grateful Dead. They acquired bassist Trace Riddle shortly after. Guitarist Austin Pittman joined the band in 2012 and was followed by Tony Stinnett in 2013.

Pushing Daisy's have been featured at local Indianapolis venues such as Gallagher's II, FedEx Family Day, the Walk to Defeat ALS, and Oktoberfest.

In 2015 the band went through another lineup change adding Jessi Plourde after the departure of Riddle and Pittman. Since then, the band has added bassist Mark Stinnett and guitarist Chuck Wilson. The Daisy's focused on incorporating original material into their live show and have transformed into an Indie/Jam band playing around college campuses in Bloomington and Muncie, Indiana. Such venues include Muncie's, BeHereNow club, and Bloomington's Late Night. The current lineup of the band consists of Max Heyob (guitar, vocal), Chris Willsey (drums, vocal), Chuck Wilson (guitar), Jessi Plourde (piano, vocal), and brothers Tony Stinnett (drums) and Mark Stinnett (drums). Pushing Daisy's is the offspring of another Indiana band, Peace Train, and credit Peace Train for their great influence on how to be a band. Support Local Music!
